Hey guys, sorry it’s been so long. Just haven’t been too much in the mood for writing I suppose. We have been fairly busy with various different photo shoots. I tend to get buried under photos that need editing so much so that I don’t know which way is up.
Thought it was high time to edit a photo just for me. This is one of our 2013 Seniors, Marcus Lobato. Fantastic kid. Just enlisted (almost said enrolled) in the Air Force. Leaves for Basic in July. Stuck him (actually Mom did) in his ROTC uniform and drug him to the Air Force Academy Chapel for some photos.
This happens to be one of my favorites from the session. He’s got a real sense of ease and confidence about him in this photo. So awesome to find a young person that has an idea what the hell they’re going to do with their lives…at least for the next few years.
We love shooting young people. They’ve truly got their whole lives in front of them. Wouldn’t we all love to go back and slap our younger selves and tell us about all the crap we missed, which choices to change, etc?
Here’s to young men and women doing something with their lives. Time has a way of flying by while you’re deciding what to do, don’t waste it.
