This is a photo of my buddy Charlie Aligaen. He is Filipino, yet could definitely pass for Native American in the right outfit and accessories. Whichever way he takes it, he's a great looking guy (I'm most jealous of his awesome hair). He is an aspiring actor and was recently cast as an extra in The Lone Ranger with Johnny Depp. Pretty awesome if I do say so myself. He was cast as both a Chinese Miner, and an Asian Railroad Worker. Or maybe it was the other way around (sorry if I screwed that up Charlie). Here’s some footage from his facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151232135911975&set=a.10151232135886975.441765.693591974&type=1&theater
I can’t help but find the above amusing. I think it just proves how closely related we all are. Native Americans did cross the land bridge from Siberia like 50 years ago or something, so it definitely makes sense that there are physical similarities between Native Americans and Asians.
Charlie is a competitive weightlifter. That’s Olympic style for those of you not in the know. He has also competed as a bodybuilder, and had some pretty good success at both. Forgive me for not being able to quote all your titles and trophies Charlie.
Definitely need to get this guy in front of my camera again soon. I have a couple female family members that think he’s the next best thing since tortillas, so maybe I can catch him when he’s in contest shape and do more of a fitness shoot.
Anyway, sorry for taking so long to post this photo, Charlie. Hope you guys enjoy (especially Dwinky and Martha!).
Have a great night everyone!!!
